First Tour of 2022 Goes Off With a Bang!

Our first Walkabout Tour of the year drew a big crowd of enthusiastic horsemen! Over 2,000 people attended the two-day event that was jam-packed full of horsemanship advice, inspiration and entertainment. Throughout the weekend, Clinton and Professional Clinicians Kristin Hamacher and Jeff Davis worked with Clinton’s personal horses and several local horses in a colt starting demonstration, a trouble-free trailer loading session, a gaining respect on the ground demonstration and a riding with confidence session.

Throughout the event, Clinton gave away over $9,000 worth of training tools and equipment. A few of the winners from the weekend included Bill Gordon who was lucky enough to win a saddle, Bryan Bowles whose accurate aim earned him first place in the Ritchie Ball Toss, winning the Fundamentals, Intermediate and Advanced Series, and our big grand-prize winner of the weekend was Amanda Rae, who won Clinton’s complete training library.

It was a monumental weekend for our Ritchie Charity Ball Toss group the Alexander Neville Foundation. The non-profit works to raise awareness about the illicit fentanyl crisis taking place. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, the foundation raised $10,317. Clinton donated $10,000 and the Massey family, longtime Downunder Horsemanship supporters, also donated $10,000. That brought the total earned for the organization to an incredible $30,317.

A big thank you to our Walkabout Tour featured sponsor, Ritchie Industries, and everyone who joined us in Franklin, Tennessee to make the event a huge success!

Two more Walkabout Tours remain on our 2022 schedule. Get all the details on our website.
